We offer a variety of charters, including inshore fishing for 4 hours and 6 hours and offshore (deep-sea) fishing for 6 hours, 8 hours, or 10 hours. Our charter packages include personalized expert guidance, a Florida fishing license, quality fishing equipment, bait, and a memorable day on the water. However, we do not provide food, beverages, or sunscreen (non-aerosol) - so be sure to bring everything you’ll need

No, we provide the permits and licensing for you to fish on our boats. Down South Fishing obtains a charter fishing license that covers our clients while they are on our charter.

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability. However, in order to maintain our scheduling and ensure the availability of our charters, we have the following 72-hour cancellation policy:

- Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled charter will receive a full refund.

- Cancellations made within 72 hours or less of the scheduled charter will result in a forfeiture of the deposit or full payment.

- In the event of unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather, the cancellation policy may be waived or adjusted at the discretion of Down South Fishing.

Clients are encouraged to contact us as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation to discuss options and potential refunds.

Down South Fishing, is committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction. Our refund policy is as follows:

- Refunds will be issued in accordance with the cancellation policy.

- In the event of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather, clients may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.

- Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment whenever possible.

- Refunds may take up to [number of days] business days to process, depending on the financial institution.

Clients with questions or concerns regarding refunds are encouraged to contact us directly for assistance. We strive to provide prompt and courteous service to all our clients, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding our cancellation and refund policies.

Gratuities are not included in the charter price. If you feel your captains/crew have provided exceptional service, tipping is always appreciated. 

Typically, you are less likely to get seasick during our inshore trips. During our offshore trips, seasickness can be more common. There are motion-sickness medications available, just be sure to read and follow all the recommendations on the label.

While we provide high-quality gear, you're welcome to bring your equipment if you prefer. We do ask you contact us prior to your trip to be sure the gear you are bringing is appropriate for what we will be targeting. Down South Fishing is not liable for any damage or loss of personal gear or equipment.

Yes, within legal limits. Our captains will provide information on fishing regulations, such as size regulations, bag limits, and seasonal regulations. If your catch is within regulations, we will store and filet your catch free of charge.
